The Secret of Having Everything You Want

Everyone wonders whether or not there is one great secret for truly successful living. There is. And it is not a secret. It has been quietly, steadily telling itself right in front of us all along. We just couldn’t hear it over the clatter and chatter of our own secret demands. Listen quietly for a moment. Everything can change right now. Learning to hear this supreme secret is no more difficult than choosing whether to swim against a current or to let it carry you safely to the shore. Let it speak its wisdom to that secret part of you that can not only hear what it is saying but that is, in reality, its very voice. Listen to it now. It is saying, “Want What Life Wants.” Think about it. Locked within these four simple words is the secret of an uncompromising power for effortless living; a new kind of power that never fails to place you on the winning side of any situation. Why? Because when you want what Life wants, your wish is for Life itself.

“What if I don’t like what life brings to me?”

“Try to see that it is not what life has brought to you that you don’t like. It is your reactions that turn the gift of life into the resentment of it.”

“I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but speaking plainly, I’m tired of being unhappy. What difference does it make why I feel this way?”

“Because these unhappy feelings are born out of life failing to conform to your ideas of what you need to be happy. This shows you, if you will see it, that Life itself isn’t denying you happiness. It is your ideas about life that have failed you. Give up these wrong ideas instead of giving up on life. Be increasingly willing to see they are nothing but a constant source of conflict. Your false nature will tell you that you must have these self-protecting ideas; that you can’t live without them or you will lose something valuable. What you must do, in spite of any such protest to the contrary, is to see that you can’t live with them. All you will lose is your unhappiness.”

Here are two lists that will not only make these life-healing ideas more personal for you, but they will help you to help yourself make a higher choice when it comes to what you really want from life. It would be valuable to study then compare the lists to each other. You may wish to add to either list some of your own insights, which I highly encourage you to do.

Let’s look at what happens “When You Want What You Want”:

1. You are often nervous and anxious because life may not cooperate with your plans.

2. You are willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to get what you want, and this may include your integrity.

3. You are usually scheming in some way to win your next victory.

4. You are either in a battle or recovering from one.

5. You are unable to rest quietly when you need to.

6. You are easily angered when someone or something gets in your way.

7. You are forever driven to want something else.

8. You are against anyone else who also wants what you want.

9. You are certain that what you have is who you are.

10. You are always trying to convince yourself that you got what you want.

Now carefully consider the following. “When You Want What Life Wants”:

1. You are never disappointed with what happens.

2. You are always in the right place at the right time.

3. You are quietly confident no matter what the circumstances.

4. You are out of the reach of anger and anxiety.

5. You are awake and sensitive to your surroundings.

6. You are free of ever feeling as though you’ve missed out.

7. You are never thrown for a loss.

8. You are in total command of events.

9. You are mentally quiet.

10. You are eternally grateful.

“Is there a simple guideline to follow when it comes to distinguishing between what Life wants and what I want? How can I easily tell which is which?”

“Always remember the following. If any want is the source of anxiety or sorrow, that want is yours and not Life’s. If the want has pain, it is in vain. To let real Life flood in, pull yourself out of the flood of self-wants that promise a future pleasure but only deliver a present pain.”

“How do I pull myself out of the flood of my own wants?”

“See that you are being washed away by them and you will grow tired of being bounced along. Here is a key. Never accept the presence of any mental or emotional suffering as necessary, no matter how much importance these impostors lend to a particularly pressing want. By refusing their dark presence, you make space for the present moment to give you its indefinable presence. This is where the Life that you want — and that wants you — is waiting.”

“All of what you have said makes good sense. To tell the truth, I would like to let go and let Life lead, but I’m afraid. What will happen to me if I give up my demands? Won’t I lose control of my life?”

“You cannot lose control of something you never had control over in the first place. No human being controls life — his or hers or anyone else’s. If it weren’t for higher cosmic energies coming down, filling and animating your body right now, you couldn’t be holding this book in your hands or reading its words. If you want to measure the level of an individual’s stress, measure his insistence that life does as he wants. The only thing you will lose by learning to want what life wants is your fear of not being in control — which was never real control in the first place but only the sensation of it born out of living with its painful opposite.”

Here is the most important point of all. No human being needs control over life because, in reality, no one is apart from it. Who you really are, your True Nature, is not separate from life.

Let Life bring you itself. Welcome it. At each instant, it is new, full — untouched and undiminished by any moment before it. To enter into this full relationship with Life is to give yourself to your Self. Fulfilling the true purpose of Life is fulfilling yourself. Here are five special key lessons to help you want what Life wants.

1. Nothing can be released and resisted at the same time, which means that any attempt to reject some weakness detected in us is the same as protecting it.

2. True nobility is not a question of birth right or social rank; it is the native estate of each soul that, upon awakening to its divine inheritance, knows the strength of these twin truths without having to think about them: justice and mercy are one, as are love and fearlessness.

3. Nothing judges you; it is what you love — and that love alone — that either persecutes you, or stands by you in your hour of need.

4. Whoever serves what he or she fears has failed to see that all they win for their service is to become more fearful.

5. We can spend our time struggling, in vain, to make others into what we want them to be, or we can see the inherent flaw in thinking this way and — rather than trying to change others to suit our needs — see through the false idea that someone else is responsible for our fulfillment.

The Law of Attraction…Fact or Fiction?

The Law of Attraction. Is it indeed an undisputed fact, or just wishful thinking? A story of my introduction to the concept may help you decide for yourself . . .

Five years ago, I moved to the outskirts of town to get away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. I was tired of traffic, and noise, and annoying neighbors and just wanted to get a place where I could stretch out and decompress at the end of a long day.

Boy did that plan backfire. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for what I have but I’m certainly no closer to being able to relax than I was before. I’ve got more grass to cut, no maintenance man to fix leaking faucets and I’ve managed to add a dozen more traffic lights to my commute in the morning and every afternoon than I otherwise had before I moved.

Traffic lights. I absolutely hate them. I catch every single red light no matter what the time of day, no matter the volume of traffic or my observation of the posted speed limits: It just does not seem to matter.

I catch every one, and that is not an exaggeration. I also do not just randomly catch the light either, it’s always just as it’s turning red, thus ensuring the absolute maximum wait time possible.

I was at one of these lights a couple of years back, silently cursing the powers that be and I remember asking myself how was it even possible that I caught every single light every single time I steped into my automobile?

The thought occurred to me that perhaps the devil was tempting me, trying to make me stressed and angry and down right insane. How else to explain this freak of nature? You could not simply chalk it up to sheer luck or coincidence, the odds were just to astronomical to even consider it. There had to be an outside force acting upon me and these infuriating lights.

I remember getting into work that morning and opening up an email from a very dear fiend of mine with an urgent request to open the attachment she had sent along on this new theory sweeping the nation. It was a review of the movie The Secret and an encapsulated discussion on the basic theory of the Law of Attraction.

The rest is history I suppose. I saw the movie, read everything I could get my hands on about this “new” idea, and even attended more than half a dozen seminars on the subject, all because of three little words mentioned in that first email.

Like attracts Like.

You see, the power of this idea did not manifest itself in some silly little affirmation idea or in the form of a check out of the blue that I had convinced myself I was already in possession of. No, it came in quite the opposite way actually. Sitting at stop light after stoplight silently cursing the universe and the powers that be as to why they felt the need to bestow this misery upon my tortured soul day in and day out.

It happened because basically, I commanded it to. Simply asking myself why I hit every red light attracted and manifested that thought into the reality of actually hitting everyone.

The universe was even compelled to go so far as moving me further from my job to allow me to receive even more of what my mind was calling out for.

The universe has no idea that these emotions are good or bad, nor does it care. It simply provides you what you ask it for and the way each and everyone of us ask for things is through our daily thoughts and emotions. Combine the two and you are guaranteed to receive it.

Eventually, through controlled and deliberate thinking, I was able to undo a great deal of the damage done and hit fewer and fewer red lights. The ones I still hit, and am okay with now that I know it’s nothing personal and I’m just probably stuck behind someone with my old thought patterns, I take these opportunities to focus on something that I want to happen in my life and really focus my emotions and intent on acquiring it.

Truth be told, I actually look forward to the red lights now for this very reason and the results have been phenomenal, not to mention what the reduced stress level has done for my overall health and happiness.

It does no harm trying this principle and it could change your life. I don’t know why anyone would resist the idea and possibly miss out on the chance to change their entire world for the better.

Why The Law Of Attraction Really Works

Whatever thing you do or whatever business you are running you might be heard about The Law of Attraction. That law simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about(consciously or sometimes unconsciously). Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest. The masters of this law say that if you study how to use it in a good way you’ll never need anything in life.

Before I try to explain in details how The Law of Attraction works, who use it and why logically you could use it too, I’d like to explain you that if you want to begin using the Law, you must be able to suspend your disbelief. I mean that if you’re pretty sure that the Law of Attraction is just a nice story that is impossible to apply in your life because of this and that…..and hardly will work for you, I can surely tell you that you won’t get anything of it so just don’t waste your time and continue to keep your eyes and mind closed. However, if you can suspend your disbelief and try to have “what if…maybe?” attitude, you will discover how things are working for you and for the world under the Law of Attraction.

You might be heard that all in the world is energy even us. And we all work as magnets and we attract different energies ….Ok this you might believe or not it’s up to you. I would like to speak about clear examples from our history Einstein, Walt Disney, Bill Gates used the most powerful and potent form of energy known in the universe –the thought. This mean that whatever is going in your mind is what you are attracting into your life right now. All those famous people discover that the thought has frequencies and send out magnetic energy that attracts. So you become and attract what you think about most and here is the challenge that the thought with the strongest energy can apply to your life and become reality (can become things!).That’s why they had such a great success in the things they really believe and put all their energy and thoughts into before even the world believe them.

Most people think about what they don’t want to in their life (ok …I also did it and it’s easier)…but by default they attract more of the same. And also if your thought is combined with strong emotion (good or bad) you speed up your process. Have you noticed that those that speak more about illness have it….and those that speak more about positive stuff, prosperity have it. Whatever you are feeling right now is a perfect reflection of what’s in process of becoming. Only your persistent thought and emotion can speed up the process when you will see it in the reality. And you set exactly what you are feeling so happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances. Visualizing positively that you have it all that you need and want will make your conscious to believe it and the universe will respond to that energy. Feeling grateful will create more things in your life to be grateful for. It is really that simple but we need to control our thought in every moment and this is the complicate stuff. You can take stepping back and looking in your life from different point to become aware of how you are unconsciously using and have used the Law of Attraction already. Remember the story of your life how you were here than you were there doing this, why you meet this person and what did you think, what happened. I personally was very surprised at the beginning while remembering every moment of my life I found how strong can be the power of the Law of Attraction (of course this law was depending how strong was my thought.)

I know that with the Law of Attraction can raise some tough questions that don’t seem to have good answers-things that had happened in our life and we never wanted they’ve happened by our thoughts. I would say, however, that these problems aren’t caused by the Law of Attraction itself but rather by the Law of Attraction as applied to objective reality. This entire reality is your creation. We should feel good about that. Feel grateful for the richness of your world. And then begin creating the reality you truly want by making decisions and holding intentions. Think about what you desire, and withdraw your thoughts from what you don’t want. The most natural, easiest way to do this is to pay attention to your emotions. You can make the experiment yourself by thinking about your desires that makes you feel good, and then thinking about what you don’t want makes you feel bad. You’ll notice that you feel bad when you’re thinking about something you don’t want. Then you just turn your focus back towards what you do want, and your emotional state will improve rapidly.

Good luck with your life and emotional experience just observe how all is connected with the Law of Attraction.
