Manifesting with the Law of Attraction

From many perspectives, creativity is something that happens when ideas are made into tangible form. For the most part when we look at inspiring and motivating outcomes of what we produce through our efforts, the process is easily identified as creative. However we should not always equate positive outcomes to the qualification of all creations. We should recognize creation exist for things like the atomic bomb, genocide weapons, guns and things of a destructive nature too.

This puts creativity on a derived polarity scale of both high and low levels of energy. A determinant of whether a low or high energy is applied in the creative process of an idea rest in the intention behind the motivation.

Positive intentions of thoughts and feelings would be based on feelings like universal love, hope, healing, , abundance and other reactions of mind for improving human conditions. Negative intentions of thoughts and feelings would be more based on emotions like anger, fear, hatred, and other negative reactions in the human psyche in holding onto conditions to avoid loss. Intention differences are vast and far between as is the differences between weapons of mass destruction and global efforts to heal the world.

As it is blatantly obvious that we don’t live in a perfect world, it is only fair to recognize the negative low energy of fears which led to intentions to create destructive weapons has been understandably beneficial for protection and defense purposes. However it is fair to also recognize most people want a better world or at least one that evolves progressively towards the higher frequency levels of creative existences.

We can logically conclude, a new and improved evolved world will not come about without the intention and actions to bring it about. Persons who examine higher consciousness and new ways to think of our human experience as co-creating with God could be thought of as the pioneers of a better world to come.

With this in mind let’s remember one of the wonderful things that science has done for mankind in It’s dedication to truth. The need for proof as part of the progress in new discoveries and possibilities has, in my eyes, been equivalent to the seeking of truth in the same manners as is done on spiritual levels where the promise is that to seek it is to find it.

Science has opened the perspective where creativity, unlike serendipity, can be experienced as a way of life in which a more precise and intentional application can empower one’s ability to reach desired outcomes. Science also has long since proven the law of attraction as valid. This law simply indicates a fact of how energy is attracted to like energy. The science of quantum physic adds the element of omnipresent particles and their relationship to omnipresent energy. In learning the potency of how everything is made up of both energy and particles, it is no surprise that people have become excited in exploring the ideas of how thought energy along with emotional energy can play important roles in the creative process. What sounds like a rather complicated perspective of things can be fundamentally seen as simple. Positive energy attracts positive possibilities and brings them into focus to be or not to be utilized, and negative energy attracts negative possibilities and brings them into focus to be or not to be acted upon.

When contemplating practicing, or observing persons putting the law of attraction into action with thought and emotional energy, it may serve us well to think of these relationships as part of a natural growing process. As we can realize creative energy flows with mental awareness existing for both hopeful dwellers and fearful ones, we can better understand conditions of past limitations and better respect explorations towards freedoms of possible future existences.

What you think about influences what you notice in your environment. Think thoughts of abundance and you will find that abundance appears uppermost in your experience.

An element of becoming a conscious thinker is to notice what gets your attention.

Right now, there are an infinite number of things that are happening in your physical environment. But, you are not seeing everything that’s happening. If you’re indoors, you may be sitting in an air conditioned room. If it’s nighttime, you may have a light on overhead. If you’re in a residential area, there may be a car passing outside. But, while you’re reading this blog entry, you may not be noticing any of those things. You do not see everything.

So, what determines what you see? Your thoughts. You only see that which you are currently thinking about. Change what you think and you will change what you see.

Think abundance and you will see abundance. When you actively choose your thoughts, you exert control over what you notice in your environment. What you see most often is what you will experience most often.

The things that get your attention are clues to uncovering the thoughts that are most dominant in your mind. Refuse the belief that a thought occurred to you for no apparent reason. You may say, “I don’t know what made me think that.” Remember, you are the thinker. You can tell yourself what to think.

Get in the driver’s seat of your own mind. Turn the wheel in the direction you want to go. Obey the “traffic” laws that govern thinking but stay focused on where you want to go.

Treat stumbling blocks and setbacks like red lights and stop signs. Pause for a moment, if you must, but not for a lifetime. Remember, you are the thinker. You are the driver of your own mind. Give no one the key to your mental car.

One way to get in the driver’s seat of your own mind is to practice daily affirmations. Unfortunately, critics of “The Secret” and other like teachings have reduced the message in these teachings to one law: the Law of Attraction. And, they’ve painted a picture of naïve followers who foolishly believe that saying positive affirmations works some kind of magical hoodoo voodoo on the universe.

Saying positive affirmations is NOT magic. Rather, it is an effective method for steering your mind in the direction of your choosing. Regardless of what happens around you, you can choose what to think. You can direct your mind toward subjects that make you happy and please you. What you see most often is what you will experience most often.

You can refuse thoughts. You do not have to think about everything that’s given to you to think about. Those thoughts that pop up “out of the blue” can be sent back to the blue. It is this power of refusal that gives you control over your universe.

If you’re like most Americans these days, you probably need more money. And, I would guess that your attention is often consumed with how far your money is NOT stretching in this economy. Changing this experience will be a matter of changing what you notice most often.

Pick a definite time of the day, maybe in the morning. Set aside 10 to 15 minutes to say positive affirmations. Use a tool like The Money Poems to focus your mind on abundance. A tool like The Money Poems can help you align your thinking with prosperity.

Continue all the other things you are doing to change your situation. We live in a physical universe. Affirmations are NOT meant to replace physical action. And, they certainly do not remove your personal responsibility to practice sound financial principles.

What a set of daily affirmations can do for you is to add a spiritual and mental component to your physical efforts. While you’re looking for a job, positive affirmations can help you stay focused. While you’re negotiating with your creditors, positive affirmations can keep you centered on the big picture.

What you think about influences what you notice, and what you see most often directly influences what you experience most often. Take charge of your thoughts. Your future depends on it.

The book the Secret by Rhonda Byrne brought the law(s) of attraction to mainstream media attention. Everyone from Larry King and Ellen DeGeneres to Oprah covered the book during it’s heyday in 2006.

Paris Hilton even mentioned the book saying, “The Secret such an amazing book. This is my third time reading it. I really do believe in it.” But, does this “law of attraction book” really work?

On the surface, it seems like as Paris said, “such an amazing book.” But the problem with the Secret is that it just glosses over what is a very powerful set of universal laws.

It’s Not Magic

It makes it sound like all you have to do is apply a little positive thinking and poof all will be right in your life. It’s not magic. The eleven universal laws that encompass the law of attraction are based on ancient knowledge and quantum theory.

Some people choose to label the laws as self-help hogwash. Those who do are generally looking for instant success without be willing to do the “work.” They’re likely trying to use the laws of attraction to get rich quick and easy. And when it doesn’t happen on their schedule they say it’s hogwash. Well, far from it!

The difference between most other self-help programs and choosing to apply the laws of attraction consistently to your life is that these universal laws are working whether you choose for them to or not.

Applying these universal laws consistently enough to change your life takes commitment and practice. You must be willing to do what most people won’t…take responsibility for the life you’re leading.

You can no more stop the laws of attraction from influencing your life as you can gravity. These laws are ever-present, ever-attracting things into your life whether you want them to or not.

There are eleven essential universal laws that govern our existence here in this place.

* The Law of Receiving
* The Law of Increase
* The Law of Compensation
* The Law of Non-Resistance
* The Law of Forgiveness
* The Law of Sacrifice
* The Law of Obedience
* The Law of Success

Bob Proctor believes the other “ten forgotten laws” are just as important to success as is the law of attraction. When all eleven laws are learned and consistently applied in ones life, amazing things can be realized.

But it seems that the law of attraction is the one most people focus on. It states that which is like unto itself is drawn. Or like attracts like. But it’s much more complex than that.

The law of attraction is not just notion. It traces, in theory, to quantum physics. One of the things that Quantum Physics sets out to prove is that thought influences everything down to tiniest electron.

Albert Einstein’s E=mc2 is the basis for quantum physics. Einstein realized that matter and energy are just different forms of the same thing. They’re interchangeable at the molecular level. Matter can be transformed into energy, and energy into matter.

In addition, quantum theorists have run multiple experiments that prove that when one observes an electron and there is a preconceived idea where it might go, they found that where they expected it to go is just where it went.

This combined with Einstein’s theory has huge implications. If at the molecular level, matter and energy are interchangeable and thought can be used to influence it then it’s not such a leap to theorize that we create the world around us at the subatomic level based on our thoughts, expectations, and beliefs.

And perhaps that’s the way the world was meant to be. But as we “de-evolved,” we stopped using the parts of our self that made this possible. Modern science estimates that we only use a very small portion of our brain’s capacity perhaps roughly 10%.

If this is the case then maybe that other 90% can actually be cultivated through a mind-soul connection to manifest our very desires. Being able to make this kind of connection to the soul is what the law of attraction really is about.

For instance, the Yogis of Tibet exhibit phenomenal feats that seem simply unimaginable to other humans. Such as the art of putting themselves into such deep trances that, they are able to control the speed at which their own hearts beat.

Or, the practice of Tahumo where these very human men subject themselves to brutal conditions by sitting naked in below zero temperatures and drying wet towels on their backs. They are able to concentrate so completely that they generate enough intense body heat to complete this task.

It’s obvious that they have been able to tap into portions of their mind that the average person doesn’t use. It’s been stated if one can do it then all can do it. Meaning maybe using our thoughts and feelings to manifest our desires isn’t such hogwash after all. It’s just a matter of making that mind-soul connection.

Law of Attraction in Religion

The mind-soul connection theory has existed long before quantum physics was ever a thought. All eleven universal laws have roots in ancient religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Kabala, as well as Christianity.

However, what we understand as modern day Law of Attraction is based on the New Thought movement of the early 1900’s. The New Thought movement is a collection of ideals that emphasis there is one absolute Universal Consciousness-God or creative intelligence.

In New Thought God exists as a presence not a being. This presence is omnipresent. God exists everywhere continuously and simultaneously throughout the whole of creation. And God manifests in essence in all of us.

New Thought believes that through meditation, prayer, and positive thinking you can access the universal consciousness or God force that lies within you. And this is the true nature of all. To become one with the God force that equally encompasses all of us.

Connecting with the God force allows us to live a more fulfilled happy and peaceful life. Once you’ve connected to this stream of consciousness anything is possible. Including manifesting your deepest desires based on your core beliefs and connection with the God force.

And from these very theories is where the modern day version of the laws of attraction was born. Whether you’re a believer or a skeptic isn’t living a happy, peaceful, and fulfilled life all you want? Think about it and it just might happen.
