Creating Wealth And Abundance… Is There A Secret?

Is there a person in the world who does not want abundance in their lives? Do people want to live in poverty? Of course not, but how does one go about gaining the abundance they desire?

Why are some people wealthy and others poor? Some might say that it is just the way the world works; the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and it is usually the rich taking from the poor that makes it so. But, is that true? I guess it depends on perspective.

Granted, there are people who are born into wealthy families, who never have to put much thought into how to get the things they desire, but those are not the people I want to discuss. After all, some people born with a silver spoon in their mouths die bankrupt. I want to talk about the people who have everything they want as the result of doing something to get it.

Why is it that some people seem to attract money, good fortune, fame, etc., while others seem to fail at everything? One word… ATTITUDE!

The Secret, really is no secret at all. It is all in the application of the Law of Attraction. The ‘haves’ know and practice it, and the ‘have-nots’ don’t. It is that simple.

What is the Law of Attraction? It is the scientific principle that states: Like attracts like. If you think about having debt, you will have debt. If you think about wealth, you will attract wealth. If you think about being unhappy, you will be unhappy. If you think about happiness, you will be happy.

For example: When a person focuses on all of the things they don’t have, they become frustrated, angry, and unhappy. But if that same person put the same amount of energy into being grateful for all that they do have, they would begin to feel good. When a person feels good, they go about their day doing things that perpetuate that feeling; attracting more into their life to make them feel even better. When a person feels bad, they tend to do things that perpetuate that feeling too.

Remember what Tinkerbell told Peter Pan…? If you want to fly, just think a happy thought. That is how the Law of Attraction works. Think happy thoughts, focus on them, and take action. You just cannot feel bad, when you’re thinking about good things.

Good thoughts lead to more good thoughts and ultimately to good actions. Bad thoughts lead to more bad thoughts and… You get the picture. People have been writing about it for a very long time. People like: Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, Wallace D. Wattles, etc.. They knew about the Law of Attraction and wrote about it. Millions have read their books, and have learned the secret through them. In fact, the hit movie, The Secret, was based on Wallace D. Wattles book, The Science of Getting Rich, which is all about the Law of Attraction.

It all boils down to this: If you want abundance in your life, you must think about having it, not about not having it. Think about what you have, and be grateful for it, what you want; not about what you lack.

What is the Science of Getting Rich about? The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich. The Science of Getting Rich Seminar is all about teaching how to do things in this “certain” way to create wealth.

7 Tips to Attracting What You Want

We all aspire to be, do and have great things. Yet most of us simply aren’t creating the results we want. We don’t have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives. But what we need to understand is that greatness exists in all of us. It is simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves. We all have the ability to create the life we want. We just need to learn how to do it. Here are 7 of my top tips to jump-start your success and start “attracting” what you want into your life.

1. Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life
One of the greatest myths that is pervasive in our culture today is that you are entitled to a great life-that, and that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, nurturing family time and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist. But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live. That person is YOU.

2. Be Clear Why You’re Here
I believe each of us is born with a life purpose. Identifying, acknowledging and honoring this purpose is perhaps the most important action successful people take. They take the time to understand what they’re here to do-and then they pursue that with passion and enthusiasm.

3. Decide What You Want
One of the main reasons why most people don’t get what they want is they haven’t decided what they want. They haven’t defined their desires in clear and compelling detail… What does success look like to you? Not everybody’s definition of success is the same, nor should it be.

4. Believe It’s Possible
Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world. But today, they’re learning instead that we respond to what the brain, based on previous experience, expects to happen next… In fact, the mind is such a powerful instrument, it can deliver to you literally everything you want. But you have to believe that what you want is possible.

5. Believe in Yourself
If you are going to be successful in creating the life of your dreams, you have to believe that you are capable of making it happen. Whether you call it self-esteem, self-confidence or self-assurance, it is a deep-seated belief that you have what it takes-the abilities, inner resources, talents and skills to create your desired results.

6. Become an Inverse Paranoid
Imagine how much easier it would be to succeed in life if you were constantly expecting the world to support you and bring you opportunity. Successful people do just that.

7. Unleash the Power of Goal Setting
Experts on the science of success know the brain is a goal-seeking organism. Whatever goal you give to your subconscious mind, it will work day and night to achieve…To engage you subconscious mind, a goal has to be measurable. When there is no criteria for measurement, it is simply something you want, a wish, a preference, or a good idea.

In the next several editions of Success Strategies, we will explore each of these tips in depth, with detailed strategies and easy-to-apply action steps to accelerate yourself from where you are to where you want to be.

Effects Of A Positive Attitude - How You Too Can Change Your Approach To Life

Each of us has the power to choose which path to follow as we go through life. There are always forks in the road that try to derail us and take us on paths that lead to nowhere. What are the effects of a positive attitude on which path to choose?

We decide everyday which path to take - the path that will lead us to the things we want and desire or the path that takes us to the valley of negativism. Challenges and obstacles occur everyday, it is how we choose to look at them and what we learn from them that determine where the path takes us. Wouldn’t you want the effects of a positive attitude to bring you health, happiness, fulfillment and abundance?

A positive mindset helps us navigate the negative thoughts, circumstances and negative people that cross our paths on a daily basis. We have the power to greet the world with enthusiastic energy or feelings of dread or defeat. A positive mindset helps you to enjoy life and every possibility, negativity affords us an excuse for failure, reasons why we fail to achieve.

The effects of a positive attitude are prevelant throughout our daily lives.
Choice is the difference between operating your life through passion with a positive mindset or living with a negative demeanor. A person with a positive mindset feels that they have control of their future success. Negative thinking people feel that other people are in control of their future.

Choosing to be grateful for the challenges that come your way is a great way to approach those obstacles. Ask youself, “What can I learn from this?” rather than always focusing on the challenge itself. When you focus on something, good or bad, you get more of it.

Let me explain the effects of a positive attitude through an example. Have you ever been around someone that good things just seem to happen to? How many time have you thought to yourself that they are just “lucky” and the good luck seems to follow them. Do you know someone like this?

Now think about someone that always seems to have bad luck and bad things just “tend” to happen to them. For example, they turn 16 years old and they get in a car accident the day they get their driver’s license. Or they are walking on the street and a car passes by them and splashes them with a muddy puddle, staining their clothing. Or a bird flies overhead and….well, you get the picture.

Do you ever wonder why some people just seem to have good things happen to them and some people seem to have bad things happen? Don’t attribute it to luck, there really is no such thing. The effects of a positive attitude can be seen through these examples. The person who has good things happen to them focuses on good things happening to them, resulting in more good things. The person that has bad things happen to them is always thinking about the next bad thing. So it shouldn’t be a surprise when those bad things continue to happen. How can you foster the effects of a positive attitude?

The effects of a positive attitude start today. Plant the seed every day and see what comes of it by taking action on the following:

Where ever you are look for positive people to mingle with or befriend - surround yourself with other positive thinkers
Read motivational/inspirational material that generate positive emotions for you
Make a conscious effort to focus and reflect upon the positive value you learned that day
Interact with others in a positive manner
Make a list of goals and objectives
You are as you think

You will soon see that the effects of a positive attitude reap more benefits than could ever be imagined. We start out as children with no fears, and without accepting no as the answer to anything. We never gave up to learn how to roll over, sit up or walk. Babies just keep trying until they can do it because they see us doing it, they know they can achieve it. Somewhere along the way we are conditioned to not have the same belief in ourselves, and we lose focus of what potential we each hold. The effects of a positive attitude are boundless and without limits.
