What Is Abundance?

Learning to create abundance in your life is about much more than simply creating material wealth; it is about enriching your Self as a whole. Abundance is for everyone, not just the limited few that life appears to have smiled on.

Actually, we are surrounded by abundance. Nature is lavish, even wasteful in its abundance. Anyone caring to look will find an abundance of love, joy, money, and health is readily available to everyone willing to accept them. If there is any lack in our lives it’s not because there is not enough, but rather, because we are limiting our intake. What we receive in life is controlled by the limits we place on our emotions, behaviors, thoughts and actions.

It is so hard for us to open the value controlling the flow of abundance in our lives because there are many factors involved. By the time we become aware of the fact that we create our own limits, the beliefs and habits we’ve developed that produce these limits are so ingrained they are very difficult to change.

Society also has its role to play. Since most of the world’s governments have become capitalistic societies, it’s in their best interest to promote conditions and belief systems that produce large numbers of have-nots. Simple economics tells us that in order for capitalism to thrive, there must be a large supply meeting a large demand and you must have people who are in debt to create a large enough demand to consume that large supply. The simple reality is that the governments of the world make their money from our poor health, debt, and our struggle to “just get by.” Their abundance is dependant on our lack. But this does not mean we have to accept these limits. While it’s true that most people will never take advantage of it, information about attracting wealth and prosperity is freely available to anyone caring to look. And the law of attraction says that the more you look, the more information you will attract. What fills your life is what you focus on.

When you begin to understand laws of abundance, you begin to understand that you are not constrained by the conditions of the economy or the amount of your present income. Your ability to increase your wealth, live in abundance, and have financial freedom is all based on your understanding of the universal laws that govern the flow of energy controlling your ability to turn potential into reality.

Yet there is more to creating abundance than simply placing an order and then sitting back to wait for its delivery. You have to be giving something of value, adding to the flow, in order to make this work. When this is the case people are more than willing to pay for your contribution.

Wealth, money, success, love, and health are all forms of energy. Being part of the flow means that you are a participating member. Once you understand how to operate in the flow of that energy, you learn to work with the Source of energy and actively create your reality instead of simply letting random thoughts create a chaotic existence for you.

Abundance is about living a healthy, vibrant life with a purpose and experiencing the joy that comes from possessing a strong sense of self.

The Law of Non-Resistance

This universal law tells us that when we resist a condition, person, or thing that we don’t like or want, we are adding power to it.

This is usually opposite of what we think our resistance is doing. We think by resisting something that it will go away or leave us alone. Resistance keeps us stuck. Non-resistance allows us to go free.

Resistance can come up quickly once we have gotten clear about our heart’s desire and have started engaging with the Law of Attraction.

As many of us have experienced directly, the universe is constantly conspiring with us to bring every resource, person, or thing to us that will create the desires of our heart.

But when we resist people, situations, or things, then this energy (which emanates from our minds) slows and blocks that flow. It’s as if we are in a river, headed along the way. We get scared for whatever reason, and grab on to some rocks. If we are holding on tightly, we will never move.

When you are feeling resistant, you are literally stopping the flow and interrupting all of the good that the universe is sending your way.

Try this exercise. Using these steps will help you let go and let the flow of the universe be restored:

When you become aware of any resistance to a person, thing, or situation, try to feel the resistance and see if you can identify it somewhere in your body or in your emotions. Once you become aware of the feeling, ask yourself the following questions:

1. “Can I accept this person, thing, or situation that I am resisting exactly as it is?”

2. “Can I forgive this person, thing, or situation for not being what I wanted it to be? Can I forgive myself for wanting this person, thing, or situation to be what I wanted it to be?”

3. “What is the reason I am resisting this person, thing, or situation? (What do I think will happen if I don’t?) Is this true right now?”

4. “Will this reason for resisting be true forever? (Think about how long forever is).”

When I do this exercise, I identify how I feel initially so I know when I have released my resistance. I know that I am not resisting once I the feeling I first identified is lighter or is gone.

Usually, the resistance releases with the first question. But sometimes, I’m holding on for such “good reasons” that I have to go all the way through the process (and even repeat it), before I’m willing to let go.

This is a great exercise to do with a trusted friend. You can take turns identifying resistance and then walking each other through the steps.

Finally, this works best when you are willing to feel all the emotions that may come up. Resistance is almost always emotionally-driven.

Activating the law of attraction

Within the last year millions of people world-wide have been introduced to the universal law of attraction. For the benefit of those determined to employ this law to attract their own personal success it is imperative that we clearly understand what activates this amazing power.

The following five principles will give you mastery over the law of attraction.

1. Vibrations: Quantum physics tells us that in it’s true essence, everything is energy. What appears to us to be a solid object is nothing more than energy pulsating or vibrating at a certain rate that creates the appearance we recognize as solid. This is easily proved by viewing solid objects under a strong enough microscope. The only difference between objects then is only in the frequency in which they pulsate or vibrate.

What many people fail to realize is that our thoughts, although not solid or tangible, also emit a certain vibratory frequency that can in fact be measured. Therefore, in order to consciously influence the law of attraction you must first learn how direct or control the vibrations you emit.

2. Emotions: Emotions are the fuel that strengthens the vibrations we emit. In the realm of vibrations, only two distinctions are made, positive vibrations or negative vibrations. Nothing else exist.

Anytime you experience joy, love, bliss or any positive emotion you are sending out positive “vibes.”

Conversely, anytime you experience fear, pain, anger, or any negative emotion you are sending out negative “vibes.” By conscious control of our emotions, we control the “vibes,” which in turn activates and directs the law of attraction. Like attracts like. Positive vibes attract positive vibes. Negative vibes attract negative vibes.

3) Focus: Since thoughts are energy vibrations, it is safe to conclude that scattered thoughts create scattered energy. On the other hand, focused thoughts create focused energy. Concentrated thoughts creates concentrated energy.In order to have a hand in influencing the law of attraction it is important to use focused and concentrated thinking to project the mental energy required to attract our desired outcomes.

4) Belief: Belief is a key component in the formula for successfully directing the law of attraction. If, as we said, emotions fuels and magnify the vibrations we emit, belief then directs those vibrations to attract like results. It is of utmost importance that belief be solidified before we attempt to enhance and direct vibrations. Again, the law of attraction states that like attracts like. And again, there are only two forms of vibrations, positive and negative.This can often be seen when affirmations are so out of touch with reality that the mind refuses to believe them. For instance, if you weigh 300lbs, your mind might not accept the affirmation, “I weigh 175lbs.” An affirmation like that will only create antagonism and doubt within your mind. Your mind will rebel and refuse to accept that blatant lie. This in turn will produce strong negative vibes.By simply rephrasing the your affirmations you can more accurately direct the law of attraction. Choosing your words carefully is extremely important. Changing the words to, “I am in the process of achieving my ideal weight of 175lbs” can mean a world of difference.Another key to remember with belief is that belief and faith go hand in hand. In fact the most common definition of faith is “a sense of certainty, or belief in something not yet seen.” The point to remember is that any goal you wish to attract will require that you apply your faith. The way you apply your faith is by being specific with your communication with yourself, and just as importantly, the actions you take.

5) Action: The final component to activating the law of attraction is action. Ancient wisdom tells us that “faith without action is dead.” No better words describe action’s role in activating the law of attraction.

This one step is probably the most crucial step within this group of five. The five steps are interwoven. They are all connected. However, action is one facet of the equation that is absolutely indispensable.

Action feeds and builds belief. Action helps you sharpen your focus and intensify your emotions. Action magnifies the vibrations you release. Action is key.

I was recently doing a one on one training session with someone in my network marketing organization. I like to take my group and expose them to the laws of attraction. This one particular lady was following four of the five keys we touched on here. Guess which step she was missing?

If you picked action you hit it on the head. Through a series of questions we came to discover that she wasn’t following up with prospects because she believed she would be rejected. That gut level feeling of fear dampened the other four law of attraction activators. Her inaction created negative vibrations, emotions, focus and beliefs.

She turned it all around by taking massive action and acting as if she was a superstar networker. She finally fully activated the law of attraction. Her business turned around and things started to fall in place instantly.

Action is the step that aligns all the other steps. It synchronizes the five steps and moves them as one. It creates the power and momentum to activate and direct this incredible law.

In summary, you are now in possession of the five key activators of the law of attraction. Incorporate these into your life and practice them daily and the you will see miracles manifesting in your life.
