The Law of Attraction has been the subject of debates between the believers & the skeptics. Some people wouldn’t even call it a law. However, The Secret which is a documentary about the law of attraction, has gained worldwide fame and has become an immense business success. The owner of this site is a firm believer of the law of attraction & manifesting through her own experiences for 10 years now.

Simply put, the law of attraction states “what is within, is without”. That which is contained within your mind can be materialized in your outward reality. You attract whatever you focused your mind on or whatever you accept & believe with certainty.

For many centuries now the law of attraction has been used by successful men & women along with action. Long before The Secret came, there were already numerous books written about it. Even so much better than The Secret. Two of the most famous and the probably the most exploited in the internet’s law of attraction niche are the Science of Getting Rich & As A Man Thinketh.

The law of attraction is an application of the power of the subconscious mind and mind power phenomenons. The law of attraction has also been the basis for many spiritual practices, like magick spells, feng shui, neuro-linguistic programming & positive thinking.

On the downside, the law of attraction works even if your thoughts are negative & will not benefit you. For this reason, the law of attraction gave rise to the idea of deliberate creation or conscious creation. You own the power to control the situations in your life by changing the quality of your own thoughts through mind control.

For me, the first ingredient to successfully use the law of attraction is a good self-concept. Self-concept is your perception of yourself or your understanding or knowledge of yourself. Why? A poor self-concept can lead to low self-esteem. The law of attraction requires faith in the unknown and in your power to consciously change your life for the better. The law of attraction will not take the time to work for you (in a beneficial way) if you do not believe it could, and worst if you do not believe that you DESERVE what you trying to attract.

Emergency Manifesting: Using Law of Attraction in a Pinch

Rent’s due but the bank account is empty. Your boss just gave your third written warning for a job you can’t afford to lose. Your beloved sweetie eloped with your best friend. The doctor confirmed the diagnosis you feared most.

Sooner or later it seems like life gets the best of us. What to do when all seems lost?

If you know how law of attraction works, you know that you get what you vibrate. Your vibration is based on your thoughts, since thoughts drive feelings and feelings are what comprises your vibration.

So if it feels like the stuff has hit the fan and you need to do some emergency manifesting, here are three simple steps to remember:

1) What do I want?

2) What does that feel like?

3) What feels good to do next?

When we’re caught in the loop of things gone wrong it’s all too easy to forget about our vibration and lose sight of our desired end result. Rather, our attention is quite naturally focused on exactly what we don’t want, like a “deer in the headlights” effect.

Remember you are in charge of what plays out next. You can effect change. I repeat: you can effect change! And that is NOT best done by leaping into action with the same vibration that escorted you into the problem.

Instead, first shift your energy (i.e. vibration), and then take action that feels good. (Which may not be at all what you would have guessed. Be open.)

Let’s look at the three steps for emergency manifesting in more detail:

What do I want

When things go wrong, it’s easy to get stuck looking at what you don’t want. So although this seems like a “no brainer” of a first step, it’s a crucial one. Take your attention off what you don’t want. Redirect your focus away from “reality,” or what you fear might become reality. Put the spotlight of your mind on the results you desire; on the outcome you’d love to see unfold. On what you want. Simple, and important.

What does that feel like?

With the results that you want firmly in mind, now pay attention to what that feels like. What does it feel like to know your healing is on its way? What does it feel like to know you’re appreciated and valued at work; that your sweetie truly loves you? What does it feel like to know all is well?

Hang out here. Spend time with this vibration! Because it is exactly this vibration that allows “reality” to turn the corner and start going your way. This is where miracles can enter your life; when you vibrate in a way that allows them in. So FEEL what it feels like to have what you want.

What feels good to do next?

Now that you’re vibrating what you want, you have access to information that can help. From this place (of feeling what it feels like to have what you want), ask yourself the question: “What feels good to do next?”

Trust your inner guidance for that answer, friend. Don’t let your analytical mind hijack you to an automatic response that isn’t authentically yours. No one can tell you this action step better than you. The world is full of advice, but none of it will serve you if it’s not in alignment with what feels good to you.

As long as we’re stuck in the vibration of the problem, we are not allowing the solution to unfold. Shift your energy and get creative by listening to your inner knowing about what will serve you best. The Universe is conspiring on your behalf, and the system is set up for your success. When you focus your mind with intention and align your energy with what you want, you are an unstoppable power!

Law of Attraction: Learn Oprah’s Secret

Larry King, Ellen Degeneres, and now Oprah have gotten turned onto the Secret that’s not such a secret any more. Now everyone’s excited to hear about this Universal principle that says we can have, be and do whatever we want by simply changing our thoughts and feelings. The Law of Attraction tells us that since like attracts like all we have to do to get what we want is align vibrationally, by expressing gratitude and focusing on what we want versus what we don’t want. Sounds great - but how do you start?

There are lots of ways to make this simple practice of deliberate creation difficult, but that defeats the purpose of what the Law of Attraction makes possible. Instead of doing life the hard way, knowledge of this principle allows you to make your dreams come true without selling your soul or breaking your back.

Simple Start
Here’s a simple way to start practicing the Secret to get the life you want. Before tackling the big dreams of winning the lottery, creating the body of an Olympic athlete, or marrying prince charming - start with something smaller this first time around.

Choose a practice project where you develop your manifesting muscle without high stakes at risk. By starting small you’ll achieve success more easily and quickly, building your confidence in your creation skills and allowing you to tackle bigger ticket items with more trust in the process.

Pick something out of the ordinary that would delight you to see or experience. Common practice projects include a flower bouquet, a particular animal, rare cars, a specific song, movie star, call from an old friend, etc. Choose something that’s not out of the realm of possibility, but unique enough you’ll know it didn’t appear by chance. It helps if you can have some amount of pleasant emotion associated with this item.

Now Visualize
Once you’ve got your practice project in mind, simply visualize experiencing this thing you’ve chosen. Imagine your delight when you see it. Hold the thoughts and feelings in mind you’ll feel when it happens. No need to overdo it, just a half minute will do.

Repeat your visualization a couple times throughout the day over the next few days. Then keep an easy eye out for it. Within a week or so you’ll likely have run across your practice project in one form or another. Be open to how Universe delivers it. It may be in a magazine, a commercial, on the freeway, at work, in your email, overhearing a conversation, etc.

For example, if you’re manifesting flowers you may have a bouquet delivered personally, or you may visit an art gallery that happens to focus on flower paintings, or you may hear a friend talking about flowers, or you may sample a new perfume at the mall that happens to be named “Eau de Fleur,” or your charity group may be conducting a fundraiser by selling flowers. You get the point? It can show up a wide variety of ways, so pay attention.How It Works
