Besides the fact that it's a nice thing to do and makes the world a bit better, it tends to build up a mindset of abundance + plenty in me(money's attracted to that kind of energy); good deeds tend to return magnified(think of all that bread thrown on the waters,eh?); and the fact that I feel there's enough to go around/share tends to manifest a world where that is indeed the case. Tithing's not just for religious causes- it can be for any place you draw strength or inspiration from. Try it out and see what I mean.... For myself the entire process came naturally and subconscious during my youth. Although as I matured what I intuitively knew subconsciously started bubbling up into my conscious state of mind. It was almost like learning to remember what I have always known to be a universal truth. In the grand scheme of things I always felt Life, Reality was a type of school. A type of elaborate feed-back system which amplifies and returns to us our deepest desires or fears, when mis-applied. Like all schools there are of course different grading levels. I believe when a person is ready to accept and realize this simple truth, 'on their own terms' they 'get-it'. In many situations I have observed close friends and relatives who couldn't 'get-it' and usually in time only after a series of synchronistic events 'it' started to sink in. But this is not always the case. Some people will dismiss events and people entering their lives as a mere coincidence regardless of the mathematical impossibilities. In my personal opinion Life, Reality serves as the perfect plateform for advancing, progressing and evolving our species within a larger frame-work. We in a manner of speaking are apprentice Gods, or Co-Creators still learning the fine and subtle details of managing our Thoughts, Feelings and Emotions. We may be limited or enabled by our Beliefs.
