Colors can affect us on many levels. If can affect your mood, your energy and your desires. Notice if you paint an entire room, changing it from plain white to a beautiful shade of green. Do you notice that you feel different in that room now? The room itself gives off a different feeling or ambience. It probably feels more refreshing and energizing. You just experienced a Feng Shui color enhancement.

Using colors as described by Feng Shui is an easy and practical way to change the feeling of your living space. You don’t have to go as far as painting an entire room to feel the change in your life. Maybe paint one accent wall a new color. Or, use accent pieces or accessories to incorporate a color or colors into your home.

Colors and your moods

Below, is a list of some common colors and what the color symbolizes in Feng Shui.

Green is associated with the Family area of the bagua. It is the color of nature and thus symbolizes new life and new beginnings. It is a very refreshing and balancing color that is known to bring energy to an area.

Purple is associated with the Wealth area of the bagua. Purple is known as the color of royalty and wealth.

Orange is a color that encourages communication and organization. It can be used to promote concentration and focus.

Red is associated with the Fame/Reputation area of the bagua. This powerful color is associated with energy, power and warmth. It is also the color of good luck and confidence.

Pink is associated with the Marriage and Relationship area of the bagua. This color is connected to romance, love, marriage and happiness

Feng shui color for money

White is associated with the Children/Creativity area of the bagua. It symbolizes cleanliness, purity, and new beginnings.

Black is associated with the Career area of the bagua. Black is a color that is linked to power, money and authority. This color is practical to use in small amounts in a room. Using too much black in a room though can leave a feeling of despair or depression.

Blue is associated with the Knowledge area of the bagua. This color promotes a feeling of relaxation, calmness and peacefulness.

Yellow is associated with the Health area of the bagua and it symbolizes intelligence and focused attention.

Brown (earth tones) is associated with the Health area of the bagua and is a color connected with nature and being outdoors. This color is known to promote stability and a feeling of being grounded.

As you can see, colors in Feng Shui mean a variety of different things. The colors can be used to promote or enhance an area of the Bagua in your home. They can also be used to promote a desired feeling or mood. Feng Shui can help guide you to making appropriate color choices for you.

It is relatively well known now that exercise releases endorphins that can help to pull you out of a bad mood and to aid in alleviating depression. However, mental fatigue and depression are hard moods to simply overcome. You may not wish to train for forty-five minutes to an hour. It might be too hard to even get down to the gym for this to occur!

Here is a good idea, instead of looking at your workout session in terms of an hour each time, shorten it.

Plan just fifteen minutes!

Change the manner in which you train. All you need is your body, (preferably fresh) air, and your ability to breathe. You can do simple health and mood-enhancing routines at home in a very short time.

A good tip is to avoid doing exercises that require minutes in between to recover. Make sure you are constantly doing physical activity for those fifteen minutes. This will keep your mind occupied and remove the chance of thinking about what it is that is bothering you. Those nagging problems won’t have an opportunity to take hold of you training in this manner.

By the time you have reached fifteen minutes of continual movement through deep breathing exercises those endorphins will have kicked in and you’ll be feeling great! No need for an hour of gym based training.

Now, after you have done this for just fifteen minutes, perhaps you will want to go to the gym. Perhaps you will want to do more. Or perhaps not.

The point is this. If you allot fifteen minutes each and every day to simple body movement and breathing exercises you will feel a lot better than if you just go to the gym twice a week for forty five minutes and while there you train in a disjointed fashion!

Essentially be your own gym. If you learn certain health and mood improving deep breathing exercises you at least have a choice. Either just do them for ten or fifteen minutes each day or do them and do a standard gym session. In essence, you utilise your breath to wake you up and get the endorphins to kick in so to speak, and this provides the impetus to do more.

Beginning is half done. When you awaken yourself using deep breathing exercises you are much more likely to want to take the day by storm!

Try the following examples for easy to do, and access, exercises using nothing more than your ability to breath and using simple body movements.

1. Standing up straight, hands by your side, expel all the air from your lungs. Raise the hands, bringing palms together above the head, making a full inhalation at the same time. From this position slowly allow your arms to drop back down to your sides while expelling all the air from your lungs. Try this ten times.

2. Standing normally swing your arms forward while rising up on your toes. While doing this inhale deeply. Then as your arms swing back and behind your body bring your heels down and exhale. Make this a dynamic movement. Perform for twenty to thirty repetitions.

3. Standing normally inhale deeply while gently bridging backwards (not too far!) and then bend forwards exhaling all the air from your lungs. Come back to normal standing position and repeat ten times.

Try these three for now focusing upon breath first and body movement second. Use them as a short circuit in the morning or any time you need a mood enhancer or quick increase in energy levels!

I’m sure most of you have heard of, and perhaps read the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it along with his book “Cashflow Quadrant.” Both of the books are simplistic and introductory by design. But there are some important concepts that Kiyosaki highlights that are fundamental to accumulating wealth. Here are a number of Power Affirmations that I have created based on studying his material.

Affirmations for prosperity and abundance you can use

One of the reasons I prefer creating power affirmations instead of just notes is that they focus my mind on the positive application of the knowledge and not just the knowledge itself. By conditioning my mind to take positive action on what I learn, positive results eventually follow.

Here some of the affirmations:

My financial intelligence is now increasing everyday. Financial intelligence is more important than money.

1) I now create regular, positive cashflow. I create money.

2) Through controlling cash producing assets whose cash exceeds my living expenses, I am on the Fast Track to unlimited abundance.

3) I don’t work for money, I make my money work hard for me.

4) I regularly study accounting and investing.

5) Today I choose to be wealthy. I choose to use my ideas and money to create ever increasing wealth and abundance.

6) I study and learn about money from people who are already wealthy.

7) When I come across an investment worth making, I ask myself “HOW can I afford it?” I am a possibility thinker.
